Healing Springs: Hungarian Healing Waters Skincare
With unique natural medicinal mineral waters from Harkány, Hungary
The whole country of Hungary is very rich in thermal springs. The earth’s crust is thinner in the Carpathian Basin where Hungary is located, thus waters moving up to the surface carry more dissolved minerals and trace elements. The water from the thermal springs must undergo strict testing and meet all quidelines to qualify to be classified medicinal mineral water.
Over the centuries the various occupants of Hungary – Romans, Turks – built thermal baths to harness the heat and healing properties of various springs. The oldest baths that are still in use today were built by the Turks in Buda in the 16th century.
